magic gallery allows you to view your photos directly on your rabbit r1. After you take a photo with magic camera or magic camera freestyle, it will be added to your magic gallery.

How to enable magic gallery
If magic gallery is disabled and you try to open it on your r1, you will see a message that says “Magic gallery is disabled. To enable it, log in your rabbithole account online and go to settings”. Follow the steps below to enable magic gallery in your rabbithole settings.
- Log in to your rabbithole account
- Click settings
- Click the privacy section in the list on the left
- Toggle magic gallery to on
Note: Only images captured after magic gallery is enabled will appear on r1. If you disable magic gallery, the photos will be deleted from your r1 but will still be available in your rabbithole journal.
How to use magic gallery on your rabbit r1
Opening magic gallery is easy—just press the side button on your r1 and say something like “show my photos”, “open magic gallery”, or “launch the gallery”.
You can also open magic gallery by swiping up or scrolling up with the scroll wheel from the home screen and selecting the magic gallery card.
Tap the touch screen to select an image, and use the scroll wheel or swipe up and down to scroll through images.
How to toggle between magic and original photos
Use the following steps to toggle between a magic and original photo in magic gallery.
- Open magic gallery on your r1
- Tap a photo to select it
- Tap the image icon (the center icon at the bottom of the screen below the photo) to toggle between the magic photo and the original
How to add an image to your favorites in magic gallery
To save an image to your favorites gallery, simply select that image from your magic gallery list and tap the heart icon.
To view your favorite images, tap favorites above the image gallery in the magic gallery card.
Tip: To remove an image from your favorites, select that image and tap the heart icon to toggle off.
How to delete a image in magic gallery
If you delete an image in magic gallery, it will also be deleted from your rabbithole journal. The reverse is also true—if you delete a photo from your journal, it will also be removed from your magic gallery.
Use the following steps to delete an image in magic gallery.
- Open magic gallery on your r1
- Tap the photo to select it
- Tap the trash can icon
- Select delete to permanently delete the photo, or select cancel to go back

How long will it take for a photo to appear in my magic gallery?
It can take around 30 seconds for an image to appear in your magic gallery, but it may take longer if your r1 has slow Wi-Fi or a weak mobile data connection. A placeholder image with a loading screen will appear in your camera roll while the magic photo is generating.
Will magic gallery import my previous photos?
Magic gallery will only have photos that were taken after you enabled the feature in rabbithole. If you disable magic gallery and then re-enable it later, the previous photos will be not be available on your r1.
Does my r1 need to be connected to the internet to use magic gallery?
Your rabbit r1 must be connected to the internet to use magic gallery. However, you can take magic camera photos while your r1 is offline, and they will be uploaded once your r1 is connected to the internet. Photos will not upload while the screen on your r1 is asleep or off.

Will I lose my magic gallery photos if I factory reset my r1?
Magic gallery photos will be removed from your r1 if you perform a factory reset. The photos will not reappear on your r1 if you set it up again, however they will still be available in your rabbithole journal.
