This article provides instructions on how to submit a data deletion request, also called a "GDPR Deletion Request". This will delete your rabbithole account and all other cloud data stored by rabbit.

Note: In order for you to use your rabbit r1, it must be linked to a rabbithole account.

how to delete your rabbit account

  1. Go to your rabbithole account
  2. Select user from the menu on the left side of the screen
  3. Scroll down to the account section and click delete my account
  4. After reading the warnings, type the sentence "I understand that deleting my account is permanent and cannot be undone." in the text box
  5. Enter your email address in the next text box
  6. Click delete my account and make sure to stay on the page until the account deletion is complete.

Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Your account and all your data related to rabbithole, r1, and DLAM will be permanently deleted. You will be immediately logged out after deletion and will not be able to log back in. Any remaining intern task credits and subscriptions will be forfeited and cannot be recovered or refunded after account deletion. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account.

Note: Before deleting your account, please wait for all ongoing activities from r1, intern, DLAM, etc. to finish or cancel them; stop using your r1; and sign out of all other logged-in devices and browsers. If you want to delete data from your r1 device, please factory reset your r1 before deleting your account.

will a factory reset delete my account?

Performing a factory reset on your rabbit r1 will not delete your rabbithole account. A factory reset removes personal information locally on your r1.

will unlinking my r1 delete my rabbithole data?

Unlinking your rabbit r1 does not delete your rabbithole data. If you unlink your rabbit r1, you will be prompted to go through the initial set up process in order to use your r1 again.
