r1 basics

adjust volume

change the volume of your r1 in the way that's most convenient for you: hold the PTT button and scroll, hold PTT and ask r1 to turn the volume to a certain percentage, or access device volume in settings. learn more.

charging

to charge your device, connect it to any usb-c power adapter. learn more.

memory refresh

to perform a memory refresh, click the button 5 times in quick succession.

troubleshoot

if the device becomes unresponsive, click the button 8 times in quick succession to shut down the device.

standby mode

while on the home screen, press the button once to enter standby mode. otherwise r1 will enter standby mode automatically after a short period of inactivity. to wake the device from standby mode, press the button once.

access settings

scroll up twice in succession from the home screen to access settings. you can exit by clicking on the "home" button at the top of settings. learn more.

OTAs

over-the-air (OTA) updates are released periodically and sent automatically to your device. make sure your r1 is connected to a network to get the latest OTAs. learn more.

lost mode

if you misplace your r1, you can remotely disable it and help the person who finds it to contact you by going to rabbithole and clicking "mark as lost" from the device page. learn more.

unlink your device

to remove your r1 from your account, go to rabbithole and click "unlink this r1" from the device page in settings.
