OS3 offers two ways to power your work: rabbit-hosted model, which you pay rabbit for, and custom model, where you bring your own model and pay its provider. This page covers what rabbit-hosted model costs.

choose how OS3 uses models

Choose rabbit-hosted model or custom model under settings → api keys. You use one at a time and can switch whenever you like.

  • rabbit-hosted model is the simple option for most people. rabbit selects and manages the models, so there is no model setup. You pay rabbit through a subscription and, if you need it, extra usage credits.
  • custom model covers your own provider API key (BYOK), a model running on one of your connected computers, or a custom endpoint. You choose and set up the model and pay your provider directly, or supply your own hardware. rabbit does not charge you for model usage. See how to bring your own key.

Messages and Telegram are included at no extra charge, with or without a subscription. Model usage through them follows the option you have selected.

Switching options keeps your balances and usage history. While custom model is selected, rabbit-hosted model usage and credits are not used, and an active subscription keeps running and renewing as normal.

start with free usage

Every new account gets free usage of rabbit-hosted model, once, for tasks, image generation and image editing, plus 30 free phone minutes. You don't need your own key, a subscription or a card. Whatever free usage you have left stays available until you use it.

monthly plans

All three plans cover everyday OS3 use, including tasks, understanding images, and generating and editing images, within each plan's usage limits. Higher plans allow more frequent use and more work in a short period.

PlanIntended useWeekly phone minutes
$20/moEveryday use30
$99/moFrequent use throughout the working day60
$199/moHeavy use with more or longer tasks120
  • Weekly allowance: your plan's included usage refreshes every Friday at 12:00 UTC. Unused allowance does not carry over.
  • Short-term limit: each plan also has a limit on how much you can use over five hours. Capacity returns gradually as the hours pass.
  • Usage left: settings → billing shows how much of this week's allowance and the five-hour limit you have left.
  • Promotional weeks: some weeks include extra usage on the $20/mo plan.

extra usage credits

If you reach your plan's limits, you can buy usage credits to keep going. Credits cover tasks, image generation and image editing.

PriceCreditsDiscount
$5250—
$402,50020% off
$12010,00040% off
  • Who can buy them: anyone with an active subscription.
  • When they're used: your plan's allowance is used first, then any free usage left, then usage credits.
  • Expiry: credits never expire and stay usable after a subscription ends. They are lost if you delete your account.
  • Phone calls: calls use phone minutes, not credits.

payments and plan changes

Each successful payment gives you one month of access, and your plan renews monthly. If a renewal payment fails, your access continues until the current month runs out.

  • Upgrade: takes effect straight away. You pay the difference between the two plans for the rest of the current billing period, your renewal date stays the same, and the next renewal charges the new price. For example, with half the period left, upgrading from $20/mo to $99/mo costs $39.50.
  • Downgrade: takes effect at your next renewal. You keep your current plan until then, and you can change or withdraw a pending downgrade before it starts.
  • What carries over: usage you have already had this week still counts against the new plan's limits.
  • Managing your plan: subscribe, change plans, buy credits or cancel in settings → billing.

phone calls

With rabbit-hosted model, calls use your plan's or your free phone minutes, and you don't need your own OpenAI key.

  • Where you can call: standard US and Canada numbers only. Alaska and premium-rate numbers are not supported.
  • Call length: each call lasts up to 15 minutes, or as long as your minutes allow, whichever is shorter.
  • How minutes are counted: a connected call uses whole minutes, rounded up. A 45-second call uses 1 minute, and an answered voicemail counts as connected. Unanswered or failed calls use no minutes.
  • Which minutes go first: weekly plan minutes are used before free minutes. Weekly minutes refresh every Friday at 12:00 UTC, and free minutes stay until used.
  • Before and after a call: preparing and summarizing a call counts as ordinary usage.

With custom model, phone calls use your own OpenAI key and project ID, set up in settings → channels.

limit reset vouchers

rabbit may give you limit reset vouchers. You can hold up to 3 at a time. With an active subscription, using one restores this week's allowance and your five-hour limit to full. It does not change your renewal date, phone minutes or usage credits.

common questions

is OS3 free?

Every new account starts with free usage of rabbit-hosted model. After that, rabbit-hosted model needs a monthly plan. With custom model, rabbit does not charge for model usage; you pay your provider, or nothing if you use a free model or your own hardware. See do I need to pay for an API key.

do I need a subscription to use my remaining credits?

No. You need an active subscription to buy usage credits, but credits you already have stay usable after a subscription ends.

which plan should I choose?

Start with $20/mo for everyday use. If you regularly reach your weekly or five-hour limit, a higher plan gives more included usage and more phone minutes. For occasional busy periods, usage credits may suit you better.
